Meet our pets Whiskey and Leo. Whiskey is our 6 year old mixed breed dog and Leo is our 7 year old Cat. Whiskey is very active and loves getting dirty and smelly. 

I love our home and I love our pets being inside, as a part of our family. However I was getting tired of cleaning our dogs’ beds and found that their ‘removable and washable covers’ are not as easily cared for as they suggest. I have tried placing a blanket over my dogs’ beds for years, but they do not stay where I leave them. Then in no time at all the beds are dirty and smelly again.

ClevFUR NZ started when our dog was making her pet bed with removable covers very dirty, and the removable dog bed covers were too difficult to remove. I thought surely there would be something I could buy that would make things easier, but no… and so I made some  fitted dog bed covers myself. Then my family and friends started wanting me to make them for their pets too... so I thought to myself, people need this, dogs need this, cats need this... and then why not be in a colour to match yours and your pet’s personality and home?

They are also great for young, sick or elderly pets that may require a cover change multiple times a day.

We researched how to make a dog bed cover (dog bed cover DIY), then found out the best material for a dog bed cover (spandex and polyester) and equally importantly how to make a dog bed cover for less to replace.  

I am so excited to share our unique design pet bed fitted covers with New Zealand.
